Lodging & accommodations

Cake By The Lake is hosted on a fully private campground. There is a central mess hall structure with sleeping bunks, a full kitchen, bathroom, and shower. As well as 4 ‘bare bones’ cabins onsite with electricity. 

We will also have: 

  • additional rented luxury bathroom (hooray!)
  • septic pumping service to ensure the actual campground bathroom & shower will remain in order for the entire weekend
  • 2 outdoor showers 
  • cell phone/electronics charging station
  • filtered water station
  • hammock area (we have a good amount but feel free to bring your own as well!)
  • tent available for use upon request!

TENT CAMPING

FREE

cabins

$50 CAD/$40 USD

Cabins sleep 6-8 people and a small (but comfy!) mattress will be provided to you for your bunk. 

We can also supply bedding and pillows if requested. 

Cabins will also have: 

  • a fan 
  • electricity (including a power strip so everyone can charge)

Pop-up tent trailers

est. $80 CAD/$60 USD

The Pop Up trailers can sleep up to 6 people. 

We can supply bedding and pillows if requested. 

Additionally, the pop up trailers will have: 

  • electricity/generator power hook up for basic electric like device charging
  • water refill for sink usage

RVS

est. $250 CAD/$200 USD

The RVs come in many sizes and some can sleep up to 10 people.

The RVs will all have:

  • showers
  • bathrooms

  • water hookups/refills

  • generator/electric power connection

  • sewage dumping!!

AIRBNB

If camping isn’t for you, no worries. Feel free to book an airbnb in the surround area.

If you are a single airbnb’er or a small group – let us know and we can set you up with a bigger group for either sharing a big airbnb or even just carpooling. 

Some places close by-ish: 

  • Duttona Beach, ON (very close!)
  • Rodney, West Lorne, Glencoe (small-ish towns nearby with potential lodging)
  • Port Stanley (30 minutes away but a very happening and cute beach town with TONS of available accomodation!)
